The Walt Disney Co. prepares to share news on earnings, stock performance, more this week via webcast

The Walt Disney Company is gearing up for its earnings call, where company executives will share the latest financial information and data for Disney’s third quarter of fiscal 2022, covering the months of April, May and June 2022.

On Wednesday, August 10, Disney Co. CEO Bob Chapek and Chief Financial Officer Christine McCarthy will report the company’s earnings for the months of April, May and June this year.

On Wednesday, Chapek and McCarthy will share financial results via a live audio webcast beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT, just as the closing bell rang on Wall Street to signal the end of regular trading.

The Disney stock price, among others, is of particular interest on Wednesday’s call. Over the past few months, the Walt Disney Company’s stock has taken a few hits, driving its price down.

But good news for Disney stock is that it has an expected EPS (earnings per share) rating of 99, and according to Investors.com“the earnings per share rating allows you to quickly identify the stocks with the strongest earnings growth. The EPS rating takes into account the growth and stability of a company’s earnings over the past three years, with an additional weight given to the last two quarters.The result is scored from 1 to 99, with 99 being the best.

The Walt Disney Company also shows expected revenue of $21.01 billion, but no official figures have been shared at this time.

It is not yet known whether CEO Bob Chapek will address any of the issues between The Walt Disney Company and the State of Florida regarding Disney’s Reedy Creek Improvement Districtas these issues arose in April 2022, which was part of the company’s third fiscal quarter.
