La Vie Hotels and Resorts will manage The Sebel Melbourne Ringwood and The Motley Hotel in Richmond under a multiple partnership agreement with Amber Property Group.
The decision to entrust La Vie with the management of its Melbourne hotels demonstrates Amber Property Group’s confidence in La Vie’s operating model and knowledge of the Melbourne market.
“We are humbled and incredibly thrilled to be working with the team at Amber Property Group to run their beautifully designed Melbourne hotels in Richmond and Ringwood, two of the city’s busiest suburban centres,” said Craig Bond, Director CEO of La Vie Hotels and Resorts.
“It’s clear that Amber Property Group is on top of things when it comes to designing hotels that resonate with all types of travelers and we look forward to working with the team.”
The highly anticipated Motley Hotel is set to open in early January 2023. Little was known about the 80-room lifestyle hotel while it was under construction, but Bond is confident it will be a hit with locals.
“From its terraced facades and rich sporting culture to the fusion of industry and the arts, Richmond is crying out for a lifestyle hotel that locals can claim as their own, and The Motley will not disappoint,” said Bond. .
“The hotel will be an eclectic mix of old and new and will speak to Richmond’s rich history and character. It will also feature a lively restaurant showcasing local produce, a rooftop bar with picturesque views; we can’t wait for the doors to open.
The Sebel Melbourne Ringwood, which is under franchise agreement with Accor, is another important offering for guests.
“The Sebel Ringwood is a stunning property, with high-end finishes and extensive facilities that both business and leisure travelers have embraced,” he said.
Amber Property Group CEO Rachael Brady said the group was looking forward to forging a strong partnership with La Vie.
“The Sebel Ringwood Melbourne is a very special property and is popular with regular travelers east for work, while The Motley Hotel will provide a true hotel experience in the heart of Richmond,” she said.
“We are thrilled to see these hotels prosper under the leadership of La Vie.”
