Huawei Malaysia has officially announced that its latest high-end tablet, the MatePad Pro 11, will arrive locally next week. For our market, the company has confirmed that we will be getting both the Snapdragon 888-equipped LTE model, as well as the WiFi-only Snapdragon 870 variant.
To sum up our previous cover, each model of the Huawei MatePad Pro 11 features an 11-inch 120Hz OLED display that offers 2560 x 1600px resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate and 1.07 billion color output. Four microphones with echo cancellation are also on board, along with six Huawei Sound Enhanced speakers. Both tablets are just 5.9mm thick, with a weight of 455g for the LTE model and 449g for the WiFi-only variant.
As mentioned earlier, under the hood of the LTE variant of the MatePad Pro 11 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi-only version comes with a Snapdragon 870 chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports dual-band 802.11ax Wi-Fi as standard, along with Bluetooth 5.2 for the LTE model and Bluetooth 5.1 for the WiFi option.
The new Huawei MatePad Pro 11 is powered by an 8300 mAh battery. However, do note that fast charging support differs depending on which model you choose to pick up. Specifically, the LTE model comes with 66W SuperCharge support, while the WiFi variant offers 40W instead.
In terms of imaging, the new Huawei tablet sports a dual-camera setup on its back, which consists of a 13MP main shooter and an 8MP ultrawide. On the front, on the other hand, is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Finally, the device is also compatible with the brand’s second-generation M-Pencil stylus and a new removable Smart Magnetic keyboard. The Bluetooth keyboard charges wirelessly when connected to the tablet and can be used as a stand for the tablet. Moreover, it also has a hidden floating antenna to improve signal connectivity.
The new Huawei MatePad Pro 11 duo is expected to be available in Malaysia on August 19, 2022. The 8GB + 256GB LTE variant is priced at RM3,699 while the WiFi-only 8GB + 128GB model is priced at RM2,999 . Along with the arrival of the device, Huawei Malaysia is also offering free exclusive gifts for purchases of either variant from August 19 to 31, 2022 while supplies last. These include the brand’s M-pencil, the Smart Magnetic Keyboard accessory, as well as exclusive Huawei Mobile Services rewards.
